   In this week's edition: The Rev. Dr. Gordon Cowans, in delivering the sermon at the Service of Induction for the Rev. Euthman Wray charged the Church to do ministry the way Jesus did it.  Council Meeting Highlights: Referral Act-CIRMC is in agreement with the proposed amendments to Chapter 5 of the UCJCI Constitution. Back to Church Sunday: - 1012 persons were in attendance in our Congregations on September 16, 2018.

Council also welcomes the new High School  Principal for Cayman Prep and High as well as the new Receptionist at the Bethesda Counselling Centre.

In this issue of the CIRMC Weekly Update, summer events and programmes for youth are highlighted. Youth across the Cayman Islands joined for a week of excitement, activities, spiritual guidance, and mission consciousness. “Mission Possible” was the theme for the 2018 Summer Camps facilitated by the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The church coordinated two camps from July 7 – 19. The first week for teenagers ages 13 – 17 and the second week for children ages 8 – 12. The update also highlights the first ever "Youth Splash" held at the end of June!
